Sedona is a stunning city in Arizona's high desert. The small community in the northeast portion of the Verde Valley is famous for its fantastic red sandstone formations, which glow in brilliant shades of red and orange when illuminated by the rising or setting sun.
Sedona Arizona sits in the midst of the Coconino National Forest at the entrance to Oak Creek Canyon. The canyon is a slot canyon and is often compared to the Grand Canyon for its spectacular scenery. The breathtaking mountain peaks and fantastic rock formations make Sedona one of the world's most beautiful and unique places.
